Located on the city s doorstep, no more than 15 minutes drive, on the KRAGGA KAMMA ROAD. Visitors to the park rate the easy sighting of large herds of game as our best feature. Opening timesGates open daily at 8:00 am and close for entry at 5:00 pm. In summer the gates are locked at 7:30 pm and at 6:00 pm in winter. More local residents visit out Park than any other Parks – they know a good thing! Accommodation Accomodation at Kragga Kamma Game ParkAccommodation is available for families and smaller groups. - Thatched Lodges: These two double-bed roomed Lodges are ideal for families – with a lounge, kitchen and undercover barbeque; fully equipped for self-catering with plenty of elbow room : sleeper couches for children.
- Chalet: Large downstairs on-suite bed/sitter with additional upstairs sleeping area, fully equipped for self-catering with barbeque.
- Log Cabins: One en suite bedroom with private barbeque area : ideal for couples with sleeper couch for children. Fully equipped for self-catering.
- Luxury Safari Tent for the real bush camp experience. Tents are fully furnished with two single beds (mattresses on request for kids) equipped for self-catering, with en suite bathroom and private barbeque area.

In any weather conditions, you will always enjoy viewing the game from the comfort of your own car. The animals are used to motor vehicles, so you get close enough for great photos. On the well maintained roads it is a comfortable two hour drive (allow 3 hours for visit). - Guided game drive
Choose the 2 hour game drive in one of our open vehicles with a professional guide for really close encounters and detailed information about the animals and the historical background to the area.
BirdingThe resident bird of prey is the Jackal Buzzard and other species such as Fish Eagles, Yellow Billed kites, and Sparrow Hawks also occur. Knysna Loeries are plentiful and more than 200 species of wild birds and waterfowl have been documented.
Good birding opportunities on the Treetop Boardwalk and the many waterholes.
