• Wilderness with its pristine beaches, lakes, estuaries, rain forests and
  rivers is a nature lover’s paradise and embodies the best the
  Garden Route has to offer.
  
  Dolphins can be seen in the surf on most days and Whales visit our beaches
  from July to November to calve.

  Wilderness is located 20 km from the George airport which is midway between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth on the southern tip of Africa and this makes it an ideal base to explore the
  Garden Route and its surrounds.
  
  We as your host offers to take you on a daily scenic drive to any destination of your choice within a 75 km radius in our luxury mini bus. Our daily rate for this  service is R500 per day for a maximum of 4 visitors. This rate includes  refreshments  but excludes venue charges

• Take a day tour to Oudtshoorn and visit the Cango Caves, Crocodile & Cheetah Park  and an Ostrich Farm
• Take the Outeniqua Choo Choo steam train  from George to Sedgefield along the coast  passing five lakes. Lunch at Sedgefield and take a walk to tidal pools.
• Take the Outeniqua Choo Choo steam train from George to Knysna along the coast passing five lakes and two estuaries. Take a ferryboat trip and lunch at a nature reserve
• Go game viewing and/or take a boat to view seals and sharks.
  
  We can arrange any of the following activities.
  • Abseiling, bungi jumping or horse riding
  • Birdwatching, hiking or walking trails
  • Canoeing, Cayaking, cycling or golfing
  • Dine & Wine
  • Dolphin and Whale watching or game viewing
