Description

Tatenda Lodge is situated on Glen Airmore Farm in the Bean River Valley some 650 metres above sea level in the Zuurberg Mountain Range. The property saddles the original wagon route to the interior which was constructed between 1850 and 1860 predominantly by hand and in itself represents a remarkable feat of human endeavour and ingenuity.

The lodge is constructed on the foundations of a 100 year old farmhouse which in its time no doubt offered refuge and comfort to many a weary traveller. This old fashioned hospitality of yesteryear continues today in the luxurious and spacious accommodation offered by Tatenda Lodge

The Bush Lodge comprises of 6 log cabins and a Boma which houses our restaurant , bar and lounge areas. The rates are R 475 per person per night B&B. The log cabins all have an en-suite bathrooms ( shower toilet and wash hand basin ) a king size bed ( can be made as twin beds )and tea and coffee making fascilities
