Here you can enjoy an abundance of birdlife, including Fish Eagles, Kingfishers, African Darters, Crested Hornbills, Owls, Sunbirds, and many more, while sitting on the expansive deck overlooking the river. The are three rooms which have their own private access from the deck. They are all light and spacious with en-suite bathrooms and are tastefully decorated in natural colours. Tea and coffee facilities are supplied as well as large ceiling fans and wall heaters to add to your personal comfort. There is a double room, a twin/king size, and a family room which boasts an extra-long queen sized bed and a futon which converts to a further double bed. Breakfasts are served in the dinging room which is open to the deck in summer and warmed by a large log fire in winter. Delicious home cooked light lunches, evening meals and braai's may be provided by prior arrangement if required. Accommodation All our rooms are spacious with en-suite bathrooms and are tastefully decorated in natural colours. Tea and coffee facilities are supplied as well as large ceiling fans and wall heaters to add to your personal comfort. Bedroom 1 features a double bed and en-suite shower room. Bedroom 2 allows for either twin beds or a luxurious king sized bed, also with en-suite shower room. Bedroom 3 is a family room large enough for two double beds, with a spacious en-suite bath/shower room.   
AttractionsA short walk from the house is the river where you can sit on the floating pontoon and fish or just dangle your feet in the cool water. Further along the bank, if you look carefully, you will find a bird hide from where you can watch the wonderful variety of waterfowl that the river has to offer. On the other side of the house is the putting green and lawn bowling rink. There are putters, bowls and fishing rods for hire or, alternatively, you could bring your own. We are just minutes from the Main Gate of Addo Elephant National Park and close to some of the region's leading private safari parks. Game drives can be arranged upon request.   
DirectionsTake the N2 from Port Elizabeth to Grahamstown and then at the Markman/Motherwell junction the R335 to Addo. Travel through the village and take the R336 left towards Kirkwood. 4km on the left is the Addo Polo Club followed by Rietfontein Road, also on the left. Turn off here and travel 2.8km further on where you will find Fish Eagles Lodge on your left.
